Joseph McSweeney the proprietor of JFMARS has been teaching music since 1997 and has loved the study and experience of the Art since the age of two. "When my first application for a library card was approved. I didn't get a book. I got a Mozart recording!"

JFMARS is a studio seeking paying students only. Please do not seek us out if your purpose is to work with sophisticated equipment, software and expertise for free.

We offer a contact with Dr. Oleg Galanin for students who are interested in music composition and the use of midi.

We also offer an introduction to Dr. Isaac Kalumbu aka King Isaac whose expertise encompasses ethnomusicology, world artistry, african, carribean and pop production!

For the student interested in recording and sound manipulation we offer Joseph McSweeney our engineer. Eighteen years of digital frustrations solved! 

Joseph is also availble for private music lessons on guitar, cheater piano, banjo, bass, mandolin, ukelele, harmonica, folk harp, solfage and music theory. Emphasis is on tecnique and the ability to play and sing one good timely note! Ages 3 and up accepted! Daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly lesson plans are available!
